Max Décharné is an English rock musician, singer and writer. He has written about music regularly for Mojo magazine since 1998, where he is their chief authority on the subject of rockabilly music, which he has followed and played since the 1970's.
His book, "A Rocket In My Pocket (Serpent's Tail, 2010)", tells the story of rockabilly music, the primal 50's howl of rockin' rage that helped start it all. It has been called "the definitive book on rockabilly.. tells you all you need to know."
